KKBOX is a music streaming service based in Taiwan. The service also operates in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. KKBOX was founded in 2004.
The company licenses over 10 million tracks from over 500 record labels
KKBOX announced that they’ve raised $104 million from Singapore’s GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation). Funding will be used for technical research and development and overseas expansion.
