Feed.fm was founded last year by the team behind internet radio service Blip.fm. Feed.fm’s service allows companies to easily use music licensed from major and indie labels.

The service raised $1.2 million in seed funding a year ago, and has now raised the exact same amount again.

Venture Beat says Feed.fm has filed an SEC Form D that discloses a new $1.2 million funding round. They say the company will use the money to build its engineering and sales teams.

The round was led by KEC Ventures. CrunchFund, Allegro Venture Partners, Core Ventures Group, Streamlined Ventures, and others also participated.

Here’s a demo of what Feed.fm might look like on Digital Music News.

Very much the same, I’m not sure which is more satisfying – pissing away money on Feed or using crisp bills to stoke a fireplace.

Hmm, could you run an ad-supported web site or app using music from this service?
