Music Week reports that Jack Melhuish is now Marketing Director of Polydor, which is owned by Universal Music Group. Melhuish was previously Marketing Director of Atlantic Records UK. He was with Atlantic for over 10 years.
Pandora has named Jason Feinberg Head of Artist Marketing, a new position. Feinberg was Head of Digital Marketing and Strategy at Epitaph/ANTI- Records.
SpinMedia has fired 19 staff members, mostly in the “video, photo, and sales departments.” SpinMedia has also cancelled the print edition of Vibe, and some of the firings were related to this. These decisions were made by new CEO Stephen Blackwell.
