
Jukely is a social concert recommendation app. Like many of its competitors, Jukely uses linked accounts to recommend concerts. Users can invite their friends to events and can buy tickets with just a few taps. The app is currently available in the major cities: Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York, Portland, San Francisco, and Seattle.The company has just announced a new pilot program available in New York. Invited users will be able to attend an unlimited number of concerts (through participating venues and promoters) for only $25 a month. Jukely has partnered with 17 New York venues so far.
Jukely has also raised $2.4 million in seed funding in a round led by Northzone and 14W. Jukely says:
“AngelList’s fund Maiden Lane, Amol Sarva and several other angels are also joining existing investors, who have increased their participation in this latest round. Existing investors include: Larry Marcus (Pandora, SoundHound); Hany Nada (Soundcloud, Alibaba); David Cohen’s Bullet Time Ventures; Paul Sethi; David Lerner; and Charles Goldstuck (Touchtunes CEO), among others. Including this latest seed round, Jukely has raised a total of $3.3 million.”
