Executive Shuffles: Warner Music, UMG, Sony/ATV, Def Jam, NAB, Apollo Theater, Blues Foundation

The Blues Foundation‘s CEO, Jay Sieleman, is stepping down from his position next year. Sieleman has been CEO since 2003.

The Apollo Theater has added six new members to its board. New members include Pharrell Williams, Robert Kraft (Chairman of the Kraft Group), Jason L. Matthews (Managing Director at Goldman Sachs), Carolyn Minick Mason (labor and employment lawyer), Charles Phillips (CEO of Infor), and Bronson van Wyck (event planner).

The National Association of Broadcasters has promoted Curtis LeGeyt to Senior Vice President of Public Policy, a new position. LeGeyt will be NAB’s main liaison to the White House and other executive departments.Warner Music Asia Pacific President Lachie Rutherford is retiring in December of this year. Warner Music UK COO/CFO Simon Robson will take over Rutherford’s position. Peter Breeden is taking over the Warner Music UK CFO position.

Universal Music Group has named Michael Frey President of Supply Chain and Media Services. Frey was previously President of Sony DADC New Media Solutions.

Def Jam Recordings has promoted Scott Maness to VP of Rhythm Crossover Promotion. Maness was previously Senior Director.

Sony/ATV has promoted Rich Christina to SVP and Head of East Coast A&R. Clio Massey is now Director of East Coast A&R.
