Updated 4/29/15 9 AM PST: Joni Mitchell’s representatives say she is awake and alert and not unconscious, but TMZ obtained a legal document that says: “At the time she remains unconscious and unable to make any responses, and is therefore unable to provide for any of her personal needs.”
Joni Mitchell is now unresponsive and in a coma, according to TMZ.
She is at UCLA Medical Center, where she has been since March 31st after she was found unconscious. Mitchell woke up shortly after.
Mitchell’s close friend Leslie Morris has reportedly filed documents to become her conservator. Morris says Mitchell has no close relatives available for the role.
