Forbes has released a list of the top five wealthiest artists in hip-hop. Surprisingly, Dr. Dre isn’t at the top. Guess he’s not the “first billionaire in hip-hop” after all.

1. Diddy – $735,000,000

2. Dr. Dre – $700,000,000

3. Jay Z – $550,000,000

4. 50 Cent – $155,000,000

5. Birdman – $150,000,000

Like Pac had said in Ballad of a Dead Soldier, “Straight to the Depths of Hell is where You Cowards goin sums it up in regards to the sell-outs above! They were also fortunate to get involved when the music industry was actually lucrative. I’d say most of them made more money off of endorsements and products than their music. It’s an absolute disgrace that they aren’t trying to develop new artists! If I had anywhere near the resources that they had I’d be trying to develop new talent even if I wasn’t making money off of it. I’m pretty sure it’s safe to say that they love money more than music since they are only spending it to try to make more. Pathetic! Real Musicians are about The Music and being happy making a living not a fortune.

  2. Wooly

Now break their money down to show how much was made from music. Exactly. These are more business people, than artists.
