Adele’s just-released video for ‘Hello’ is rapidly crossing big YouTube thresholds, including a record-setting 23.2 million views in its first day. Now, the video is about to cross 100 million views in its first week, a feat only accomplished by two other videos: PSY’s ‘Gentleman,’ and Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’.
As for the record books, PSY holds the record for hitting 100 million the fastest. On the heels of his insanely-massive ‘Gangnam Style,’ ‘Gentleman’ soared past 100 million in just three days. ‘Wrecking Ball’ hit the feat in six days, a timeframe Adele is almost guaranteed to cross.
Indeed, by the time you’re reading this post, ‘Hello’ has probably crossed 100 million.
