Dennis Davies, who is widely known as David Bowie’s drummer in the 70s, has died.
Dennis Davis worked in the music industry as a drummer and session musician. He is most commonly known for his work that he did with David Bowie. Davis was hired by Bowie in 1974 and formed the Rhythm section of the band which performed on several of Bowie’s albums in the 70s. In the early 2000 Davis also played percussion on Bowie’s live tours.
Alongside his work with Bowie, Davis also worked with other major artists in the music industry, such as Jermaine Jackson and Stevie Wonder amongst several others.
