David Gest was found dead today (April 12th) in the Four Seasons Hotel in Canary Wharf in East London, right before an eerily-titled tour was set to begin.

The cause of death remains unknown, though sources are saying that Gest suffered from high blood pressure, insomnia and severe chest pains for which he was taking medication. He also reportedly consulted with a doctor last week because he felt unwell.
Gest was an American entertainer, producer and television personality who was widely known for producing Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration. That was the highest-rated musical television show in history, and Gest also appeared on the British television show, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
Gest reportedly had plans to tour the UK in July with his strangely-titled show, David Gest Is Not Dead But Alive With Soul Tour. An array of artists were due to perform on the tour, including Freda Payne, Dina Carroll and several others.
Condolences have been flooding social media since the announcement surfaced.
