Record Store Day started back in 2008 to promote sales of records across the world. Music lovers flocked to their favorite record stores to check out the new vinyl releases.
It’s still going strong, and getting stronger. Here’s is a list of the top 25 albums sold and top 25 singles sold across participating stores this year.

The Sturgill Simpson album was not a Record Store Day release. It might also be nice to cite/link to an actual source for this list because, you know, that’s what journalists and writers do.
