Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharaoh are now facing a major backlash from Trump supporters after lampooning Melania. But will the President-Elect pull another Hamilton and directly demand an apology?
The American Music Awards didn’t exactly express a warm welcome to president-elect Donald Trump. Green Day shouted “No KKK, No Trump, No Fascist America.” SNL comedian and co-host Jay Pharaoh mocked Trump with a spot-on impersonation, saying,
“I love Bruno Mars. I don’t know what color he is, so I can’t deport him.”
Pharaoh furthered his Donald Trump impersonation, saying,
“I love ‘Uptown Funk,’ it was all totally about me. I’m going to funk this country up bigly.”
However, on social media, people couldn’t stop talking about one impersonation. Model and actress Gigi Hadid mocked Melania Trump’s accent (see below). With slanted eyes, pouted lips and a thick, fake accent, Hadid said,
“I love my husband, President Barack Obama and our children Sasha and Malia.”
AMA attendees laughed at and cheered the impersonation of Melania Trump at the RNC. Readers will remember that Melania Trump caught heat for apparently lifting her ‘inspirational speech’ from Michelle Obama. At the AMAs, Pharaoh called the impersonation “spot-on.”
Yet, online, not everyone’s laughing. Both Trump supporters and non-supporters blasted model Gigi Hadid.

Others called Hadid a hypocrite for mocking the future first lady, since apparently, the model’s parents are also, like Melania, immigrants.

Honestly glad I missed it – getting tired of the crybabies who can’t handle losing.
It is kind of funny, Trump has 1st foreign first lady, first presidential campaign run by a woman, a brilliant black neurosurgeon who will likely lead health reform, yet he is racist / sexist and xenophobe, on and on the lefty clowns keep squealing, Hadid and co. be living in an echo chamber.
You can see by your accurate point that the Left actually have a hidden agenda and that their tricks and distractions do not hold up.
The Liberal ethos is having no trouble in and needs no help in discrediting themselves and showing their own lack of integrity. Social Marxism has a foul odor that can’t be hidden. The era of progressive Liberalism is now at the tipping point and turning toward decline.
how utterly stupid, disrespectful and very thoughtless of Gigigi Hadid.
Not only did she insult a very accomplished model someone who is considered at the top of the profession she herself is “pursuing” and who is married to the soon to be most powerful man in the world who also has tremendous hollywood and media connections. Hadid just ruined her career, and deserves to go back to college so she can be taught how to think.
