Elvis and Maryann Rolle, owners of Exuma Point Restaurant Bar & Grill.

Fyre Festival cofounder Billy McFarland scammed a lot of people.  Among these were the unsuspecting owners of Exuma Point Restaurant Bar & Grill.

Last year, Elvis and Maryann Rolle were contracted to provide catering services to the Fyre Festival.

They prepared no less than 1,000 meals per day in April 2017.

According to the catering staff’s GoFundMe page, they presented festival organizers with meals at the Exuma Point Resort.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all prepared and delivered by Exuma Point to Coco Plum Beach and Roker’s Point where the main events were scheduled to take place.  Organizers would also visit my Exuma Point location to enjoy the prepared meals.

Fyre Festival organizers had stayed at the Exuma Point Resort.  The Rolles own Exuma Point Restaurant Bar & Grill.

Yet, following the disaster, Billy McFarland and his team had refused to pay up.  Prior to discovering the event wouldn’t happen, Maryann Rolle had provided housing on-site to desperate organizers.

Featured in Netflix’s Fyre documentary, Rolle explained she lost at least $50,000, and likely much more.

Requesting help from those who watched the documentary, she wrote,

As I make this plea it’s hard to believe and embarrassing to admit that I was not paid… I was left in a big hole!  My life was changed forever, and my credit was ruined by Fyre Fest.

My only resource today is to appeal for help.

The online fundraising website has verified the page.  The film’s producers have also endorsed it.

Rolle concludes,

There is an old saying that goes ‘bad publicity is better than no publicity’ and I pray that whoever reads this plea is able to assist.

Thank you,

Elvis and Maryann Rolle
