Ticketmaster
The ticketing giant has named Kathryn Frederick as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), with oversight over performance marketing, branding, partnerships, insights, and various digital marketing teams. David Eisenberg has also been named Vice President of Partnership Marketing, and Andrew Samson will assume stripes as Vice President of Brand Marketing.
Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG)
Terry Wakefield has been named Senior VP, A&R for the Nashville division of UMPG. Wakefield will be responsible for signing and developing new songwriting talent and supporting the company’s current roster of writers.
BMI
BMI has announced it has promoted David Levin to Senior Vice President of Licensing, effective immediately. He will be responsible for all of BMI’s domestic licensing and revenue generation, encompassing radio, TV, digital media, cable, satellite, and general licensing.
Sweet
Sweet has announced that A&R executive Michael Rosenblatt has joined the fan loyalty and social commerce platform. He will serve as Executive Vice President of Partnerships.
LiveXLive Media
LiveXLive Media has announced that AOL and MTV veteran Dermot McCormack will be the company’s president. McCormack will lead the business and creative operations of LiveXLive, effective immediately.
AWAL
Bianca Bhagat has joined AWAL as the newest Senior VP Synch and Brand partnerships. She will be based out of AWAL’s Los Angeles office and will oversee the company’s global synch and brand partnerships team.
AEG Presents
Laura Davidson has joined AEG Presents’ new European festival division. The new division was established this month under CEO Jim King. Davidson most recently served as Goldenvoice UK’s VP of Live Music.
Roc Nation
Shari Bryant and Omar Grant have been named co-presidents of the Roc Nation Label. Both will lead the Roc Nation team to develop strategies for signed artists while continuing to build the label’s talent roster.
Live Nation
Sally Williams is leaving her post with Ryman Hospitality Properties & Opry Entertainment Group to join the Live Nation team. She will assume the role of president of Nashville Music and Business Strategy, effective August 9th.
Spotify
Spotify’s Chief Economist Will Page will step down from his position later this year, the latest in a long string of Spotify executive defections. Page first joined Spotify back in 2012.
Position Music
Jon Sidel has joined the company as A&R Director. He will help expand the roster for the independent publishing and record label. Sidel will continue his independent work with his own management company, Sidel Services.
Warner Chappell Music
Hank Forsyth is joining the Warner Chappell Music team as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Department. He will develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive results for WCM’s growing roster of songwriters.
Liv Write Play
Amy Hendon has been named Creative Director at Liv Write Play publishing company. Amy previously held positions at Virgin Records, BBR Music Group, HoriPro, Destin Songs, and Wide Open Music. She recently signed Matt Nolen and Tony McVaney to the current roster.
