Big Loud/Maverick — Ryan Kroon

Ryan Kroon, a manager and former Red Light Management employee, has joined Big Loud/Maverick as a day-to-day manager.

Warner Music Group — Angela Nguyen

Angela Nguyen has been promoted to Vice President of Warner Music Artists Services, the digital marketing and promotion branch of WMG.

Berklee College of Music — Kris Davis

Kris Davis, a prominent composer and jazz pianist, will teach several classes at Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music. The classes will explore the nuances of jazz music, with an emphasis on gender.

Music Sales Group — Tim Hayes

Tim Hayes has been hired by Music Sales Group, where he’ll serve as New Business Manager. Hayes was previously an executive with Warner Chappell.

Creative Artists Agency — Katie Anderson

Katie Anderson has been promoted to CAA’s music leadership team, which develops strategies for achieving growth and enhancing relationships with artists.  Anderson has worked for CAA since 2006.

Q&A — Clarissa Reformina, Ray Kurzeka, and Austin Hurwitz

Q&A recently made several high-profile additions to its team.

Clarissa Reformina, who previously worked at Paradigm, will serve as Vice President of Creator Services.

Ray Kurzeka, a former Universal talent manager, has accepted the position of Vice President of Digital Strategy.

Lastly, Austin Hurwitz has signed on as Q&A’s Vice President of Music Operations, having spent the last half decade in a senior position at Amazon Music.

Warner Records — Jason Heller

Jason Heller, a longtime music-industry lawyer and negotiator, has agreed to serve as Warner Records’ Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs.

Coalition of Independent Music Stores — Michael Bunnell

Michael Bunnell, who founded the Coalition of Independent Music Stores in 1995 and began serving as Executive Director in 2009, will retire at the end of 2019.

Bunnell indicated that he wishes to spend more time overseeing and operating The Record Exchange, a Boise record shop that he co-owns with his wife. He will be succeeded by Andrea Paschal, the Coalition of Independent Music Stores’ general manager.

Sony/ATV — Jorge Mejia

Jorge Mejia has been promoted to President and CEO of Latin America and U.S. Latin at Sony/ATV.  Mejia began serving as President of the division in 2016, and he was hired by Sony/ATV in 1997 as an intern.

iHeartMedia Huntington — Tracey Baumgard

Tracey Baumgard has been promoted to Market President in charge of the Huntington, West Virginia branch.  In this role, Baumgard will oversee programming schedules and develop revenue-boosting strategies.
