Amazon partnered with Billie Eilish to release a branded Echo Studio featuring the singer.

This is the first time Amazon has struck a partnership with a singer to feature their image directly on a piece of hardware. The limited-edition Echo Studio also includes six months of Amazon Music Unlimited for listening to Billie Eilish’s new album, Happier Than Ever.

The Billie Eilish Echo Studio features cover art from the album, with Billie on beige fabric. The Echo Studio is Amazon’s premium Echo model, capable of playing songs in spatial audio. The Billie Eilish Echo Studio will be available for $229, shipping to customers in October.

“My new limited-edition Echo Studio is available for pre-order now,” Billie Eilish said in a statement. “I can’t wait for my cutie fans to be able to listen to my new album Happier Than Ever in spatial audio, available on Amazon Music Unlimited.”

Amazon says the Echo Studio is its best-sounding smart speaker yet. It has room-sensing acoustic technology to fine-tune audio playback for delivering optimal sound quality for your space.

The Echo Studio is equipped with a 5.25-inch woofer and 330W of peak power to produce deep, rich bass by using the bass aperture at the bottom to maximize airflow and bass output from the woofer. The 1-inch tweeter and three, 2-inch midrange speakers deliver dynamic midranges and crisp high frequencies.

Amazon says the device will soon gain the ability to set special Billie Eilish alarms. Whatever that means. Amazon has partnered with musicians and artists in the past to lend their voices to Alexa for responses. There doesn’t appear to be any Billie Eilish voicework in this release, however.

Billie Eilish has been hard at work lending her appearance to brands. Earlier this week, the singer announced she teamed up with Nike to offer 100% vegan Nike gym shoes. The shoes are dropping on September 27 in Billie Eilish’s official store and then three days later on the Nike app.

“You can make cool sh-t and you don’t have to be wasteful,” Eilish says. “This is not a popular shoe, and I don’t give a f**k. Because what you feel about something that you love deeply is all that matters in the world.”
