Have you created a playlist that is growing on Spotify? Here’s how to see who liked your playlist.

Playlists are one of the best things about Spotify, making it easy to share music with any community. Twitch streamers often create playlists of their favorite songs for their audience to enjoy. If you’ve created a playlist and want to know how to see who liked your playlist on Spotify, here’s how.

Spotify only allows you to see the total number of likes each playlist has. You can’t see detailed information on who liked your playlist. You can see who has liked your playlists by following these steps.

  1. Select your library and then click your profile icon.
  2. Then select ‘View Profile’ and tap ‘Playlists.’
  3. A total likes count will appear below each playlist.

Spotify did allow you to see who liked your playlist at the granular level back in 2013. However, the streaming giant got rid of the feature and hasn’t reimplemented it. You can see the list of followers for your Spotify profile, but not who follows your playlists.

After Spotify removed the feature way back in 2013, it’s been a feature request in the Spotify Community board ever since. For nearly ten years, Spotify users have been voting to allow users to see who liked their playlist on Spotify. 22,000 users have voted to request the feature, but Spotify isn’t allowing it. The last time Spotify posted in this community thread was back in January 2019.

“We’re keeping this idea as ‘Not Right Now’, as this isn’t something we have any immediate plans to implement,” a Spotify spokesperson told the community. “We appreciate you sharing your thoughts. If we do have any new info to share, rest assured we’ll check back in here with a new status.”

If you want the ability to see who liked your playlists on Spotify, you should vote up this community request.

You may see sites advertising the ability to allow you to see who liked your playlists on Spotify. Please be aware that most of these sites are not legitimate. Spotify has no way to see how the individual people who have liked or followed a playlist on the service—confused about likes and followers? Spotify calls them playlist ‘likes’ on the mobile app and ‘followers’ on the desktop app.
