Santa Monica-based music startup IndieFlow has raised $4 million in funding to grow its presence.

The funding round was led by State of Mind Ventures, with participation from Oryzn Capital, Or Perry (Co-Founder of StreamElements), 5 Eyes Venture, TechStars, and Moshe Gaon. IndieFlow says it plans to use the new funding to help grow its team and accelerate the platform’s growth.

IndieFlow is an all-in-one operating system and marketplace for the music industry. It enables independent musicians, managers, and labels to navigate the business side of the industry from one simple platform. It covers distribution to streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, collecting payments and royalties, tracking data, scheduling, promoting, managing projects, booking gigs, and collaborating with others.

The platform was founded in 2020 and since then, thousands of musicians have signed up to see what IndieFlow can offer them. IndieFlow helps artists manager their careers in a single space, giving them more freedom to focus on creating music. The platform is hoping to become the ‘Shopify for Musicians,’ giving them a place to market merch, concerts, gigs, and more.

“Our new partners deeply understand the creator economy and with the financial backing can help us make a significant leap,” says IndieFlow about the funding round. Syncing calendars and planning releases are just some of the features IndieFlow offers. End-to-end music management is the goal of the startup.

What Does IndieFlow Offer?

    • Distribution – Get your music on all streaming platforms and keep 100% of your royalties.
    • Publishing Administration – Automatic and seamless integration with Songtrust and your PRO.
    • Artist Relations Manager – One-on-one personalized artist relations sessions for help with publishing, promoting, and booking.
    • Social Media & Playlists Promotions – Create customized promotion strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Spotify.

The platform also makes it easy for artists to collaborate with one another on the platform. Sharing beats, stems, recordings, and audio files of any time is as simple as dragging and dropping.
