Beyonce has announced a global world tour to support her seventh studio album, Renaissance. It’s the megastar’s first solo tour in over six years.
The 2023 tour is produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation and will kick off in May 2023 on the European leg of the tour. Beyonce is also bringing her charitable initiative BeyGOOD on tour with her to various cities across the globe.
“BeyGOOD will support entrepreneurs through Black Parade Route luncheons and celebrate small business owners with grant opportunities being awarded and a foray of services with global partners to promote business sustainability. One thousand small businesses will be supported with a commitment totaling one million dollars,” reads the press release.
The BeyGOOD initiative will also support students with scholarship funds that will be given to colleges and universities in ten different cities along the tour. Each school will be given $100,000 to select student recipients from its body for a total contribution of over one million dollars.
The Renaissance World Tour is using Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan registration for presale tickets. Ticketing timelines and sales will vary by city, so fans are encouraged to sign up to find out exact details.
