After wrapping up her 34-night run at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, Adele extends her Las Vegas residency with 34 additional dates.
After finishing her 34 shows at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, Adele said she would extend her Las Vegas residency. The singer announced on March 25, during what would have been her final concert in the series, that she would be coming back for an additional 34 shows.
“Playing to 4,000 people for 34 nights is not enough, and I know that, so I am coming back,” Adele told the crowd at Saturday’s show.
She also announced that the upcoming dates would be filmed and the footage released to ensure that “anyone who wants to see this show can see it.”
Adele first announced her Las Vegas residency in 2021, intended to kick off in January last year. However, the day before the scheduled first show, she tearfully announced its postponement via Instagram due to COVID-related setbacks. Last summer, Adele confirmed the show would take place from November 18 to March 25.
She later explained the initial residency’s postponement in additional detail, telling Elle magazine, “there was just no soul in it.”
“The stage setup wasn’t right. It was very disconnected from me and my band, and it lacked intimacy.”
The 34 new Weekends With Adele shows begin June 16 and run through November 4. Registration is now open and continues through April 2. The Verified Fan Presale will start at 10 AM PT on April 5, and only fans that have received a unique code will have the chance to purchase tickets on a first come, first served basis. Ticketmaster’s kerfuffle in handling Taylor Swift’s Eras tour has led to some examination into the promoter’s ticketing practices. Especially since evidence proves Verified Swiftie fans were shafted during the ticket presale event.
