Porno for Pyros is reuniting for a 21-date jaunt across North America—their first in 25 years. Here’s a peek at the tour dates.
The ‘Horns, Thorns, En Halos Tour’ starts in October and will visit major cities across the United States. The lineup for this tour includes all four original members—Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefano, and Martyn LeNoble. Ticket pre-sale through Ticketmaster will begin July 12 with code LEGEND ahead of general ticketing on July 14.
Perry Farrell revisited Porno for Pyros in 2022 after Jane’s Addiction was forced to cancel their shows at Welcome to Rockville and Lollapalooza following guitarist Dave Navarro’s battle with long COVID. Now that the group is back together, they’ve also confirmed they’re working on new music.
The group only released two studio albums, their 1993 debut album, Porno for Pyros, and 1996’s Good God’s Urge. Their last recording was a single released in 1997, “Hard Charger.” The band also performed a couple of songs for a Lollapalooza livestream in 2020. Farrell also hinted at working on new music behind the scenes in a Facebook post from 2021.
