Country music reached a new streaming peak at the start of June with 2.26 billion streams — and Morgan Wallen’s ‘One Thing at a Time’ is leading the pack, accounting for 9.6% of all country on-demand audio streaming since its debut in March.

The highest weekly total ever for country music on-demand audio occurred at the beginning of June with 2.26 billion streams — an impressive feat for the genre that’s been notoriously resistant to streaming compared to other top-performing music styles.

Luminate’s 2023 mid-year report reveals the top songs on-demand streaming in audio and video formats this year, with artists like Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan alongside Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd, and Taylor Swift.

Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” achieved 588.7 million audio-only on-demand streams, while his song “You Proof” garnered 303.3 million. SZA’s “Kill Bill” beat Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” with 567.6 million streams versus 464.6 million.

PinkPantheress’ hit “Boy’s a Liar” reached No. 4 with 370.4 million — though later this year, we may see her remix featuring Ice Spice on the list. Abel Tesfaye, the artist known as The Weeknd, appears twice on the list with “Die For You” at 349.8 million streams and “Creepin” with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage at 308.3 million streams.
