AMR Songs acquires ‘hundreds of Christian titles’ by top songwriters and artists in the genre, including Christy Nockels, Sanctus Real, Phil Wickham, and many more.

Independent music publishing and rights management company AMR Songs has launched a new Christian music division, acquiring the rights to hundreds of songs by top artists and songwriters in the space, including artists like Phil Wickham, Christy Nockels and Nathan Nockels, rock band Sanctus Real, and hip-hop songwriter Kevin “KB” Burgess.

“We are so pleased to announce AMR Songs has launched a new Christian division and acquired interests in songs by some of the most talented and celebrated artists and writers in contemporary Christian music,” says industry veteran Tamara Conniff (pictured), AMR co-founder and CEO.

“It is a complete honor to have been entrusted to take care of these works and ensure the songs continue to reach new audiences for decades to come. AMR’s diverse catalog is a powerful collection of perennial hits and Christian music gems that we’re so proud to represent as we expand into the market.”

New acquisitions include the master recordings of GMA Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated Christian rock band Sanctus Real, the publishing catalog of GMA Dove 2022 “Songwriter of the Year” Phil Wickham, interests in the publishing catalog and artist royalties of GMA Dove Award-winning Christian rapper, speaker, and podcaster Kevin “KB” Burgess, and the publishing catalog of artist and songwriter Ryan Stevenson.

AMR has also acquired the publishing, recording, and producer interests of Christian superstar Christy Nockels and her long-time collaborator and husband Nathan Nockels. Both have enjoyed successful music careers since the late ’90s, leading worship at Metro Bible Study in Houston and signing with Michael W. Smith’s label Rocketown Records.

AMR Songs has structured its business around building a creative home for artists and writers, proactively nurturing and marketing catalogs, and signing and developing talent through its frontline operations. Its roster includes the works of John Sebastian and the Lovin’ Spoonful, Grammy-winning international reggae band SOJA, and select interests in music publishing, producer, and artist royalties from hundreds of beloved songs across multiple genres.

Those artists include Kane Brown, Boston, Luke Combs, Charlie Daniels, Celine Dion, Eminem, Enrique Iglesias, Janet Jackson, Lil Wayne, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Linda Ronstadt, Carly Simon, and many more.
