Travis Scott’s set in Rome’s Circus Maximus also featured a special appearance from Kanye West. It marks the first time the rapper has performed in public since his string of anti-semitic remarks in public. This will be Scott’s first North American tour since the Astroworld tragedy in 2021. Houston Police just released a 1,200+ page investigative report on the issue.

Travis Scott will not be criminally charged in relation to the Astroworld crowd crush event, though civil lawsuits are still ongoing. In the report, Scott claims to have been unaware that people were dying in the crowd. But audio engineers told police they recalled several warnings relayed to Scott about the issues organizers were facing in dealing with the crowd crush. The concert continued for 37 minutes past when the event was declared a mass casualty event by Houston Police.
