Nicki Minaj Enters Roblox With Brand New ‘Nicki Minaj Gag City’

Nicki Minaj makes her Roblox debut with the launch of ‘Nicki Minaj’s Gag City’ in celebration of her new album, ‘Pink Friday 2.’

Hip-hop queen and superstar Nicki Minaj has entered Roblox with the launch of a virtual shop in “Nicki Minaj’s Gag City,” a new interactive experience created by metaverse studio Karta in collaboration with Republic Records. The new shopping experience coincides with the launch of her new album, “Pink Friday 2,” and fans will have the chance to purchase digital items that celebrate all things Nicki.

In an immersive pink 3D shopping experience in Gag City, users will have the option to buy emotes (expressive character animations for Roblox avatars) and Nicki-themed digital items. All the items relate to Nicki’s new album and career highlights, including her hit songs “Superbass,” “Anaconda,” and “Starships.”

The first 100,000 users to visit the shop will earn additional limited-edition items, including a free shoulder pet and a virtual BARBZ birthday badge, to celebrate Nicki’s birthday and the album release.

Virtual photo opportunities are set up for visitors to take selfies or use the virtual photo booth to share them on social media. The virtual shop will also include various Nicki Minaj themed user-generated content, items for fans to try on or purchase, including pink hairstyles and unique pieces of clothing.
