Warner Chappell Music

Warner Chappell has promoted more than 15-year team member Lázaro Hernández to SVP of A&R for U.S. Latin and Latin America.

Additionally, 14-year Warner Chappell Germany higher-up Natascha Augustin has been boosted to managing director, with Lars Karlsson, previously MD of both WCM Germany and WCM Scandinavia, now focusing “on the publisher’s expanding business in the Nordics.”

SONA

Songwriters of North America has established a New York chapter and announced a series of leadership shifts, including the elevation of Michelle Lewis, previously executive director, to CEO of SONA as well as the associated-but-distinct SONA Foundation. Meanwhile, industry vet Erin McAnally has signed on as executive director.

Next, Sound Circle Management head Kellie Brown has become COO of SONA proper and its namesake foundation, whereas Linda Bloss-Baum, who spent about nine years with SoundExchange, has joined SONA’s board and “been retained to lend her expertise in policy and government affairs.”

Lastly, SONA’s board has also added Truideation co-founder Camus Celli, who’ll “lead the new New York chapter and head SONA’s growth efforts on the east coast.”

Angel Studios

Angel Studios has hired former Millennium Media head of music Ryan Svendsen in the same role.

A2IM

Former Qobuz music merchandiser Emmaline McCourt has come aboard the American Association of Independent Music as membership manager.

BMG

BMG Nashville president Jon Loba has transitioned to president of frontline recordings for North America, and Thomas Scherer has pivoted from president of repertoire and marketing to president of global catalog recordings.

Primary Wave

Primary Wave has brought on Agnes Kacicki (previously an RBC Capital Markets director) as head of corporate development.

V13 Promotions has officially launched its publicity division and elevated marketing and publicity intern Erin Browne to publicity and marketing manager.

FiXT

FiXT has promoted marketing and sales director Kurtis Redden to operations director and head of marketing, besides boosting accounting and royalties manager Travis Brockett to administrative director.

We Are Giant

We Are Giant has added AEG Presents global touring COO David Rappaport to its board.

Big Loud Rock

Big Loud Rock has tapped former C3 Management exec David Barbis to serve as head of promotion.

NMPA

The National Music Publishers’ Association has hired veteran political strategist Chris Barkley as SVP of government affairs.

Kakao Entertainment

Kakao has announced COO Kweon Ki-su and global strategy officer Joseph Chang as co-CEOs.

CAA

Creative Artists Agency has officially elevated six-year team member Jenna Powell to communications executive.
