Post Malone and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse)” is a massive hit, becoming the first single to be certified ‘Double Diamond’ by the RIAA.

The track also holds the most certifications of all-time, going 20x Platinum, also contributing to Post Malone’s personal record of the most RIAA Diamond Certified Singles artist, ever. Post Malone is performing at the Super Bowl LVIII and will be singing “America the Beautiful” before kick-off.

Last year, Posty released his fifth full-length album, AUSTIN. It reached #2 on the Billboard 200 and was his fifth consecutive Top 5 album on that chart since 2016. He now has 8 RIAA Diamond-certified records including:

  • “White Iverson”
  • “Congratulations” ft. Quavo
  • “I Fall Apart”
  • “rockstar” ft. 21 Savage
  • “Pyscho” ft. Ty Dolla $ign
  • “Better Now”
  • “Circles”
  • “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse)”

“Post Malone and Swae Lee have officially raised the bar on what creative partnerships and infectious collaborations have the power to accomplish,” adds RIAA Chairman & CEO Mitch Glazier.

“‘Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse)’ has now been streamed or downloaded more than 20 million times in the United States alone—and they’ve earned this custom hardware to prove it. Congratulations Post, Swae Lee, and Mercury/Republic Records for making history with the first 2x Diamond single!”

Post Malone has sold out numerous arena tours and hosted and curated his own music festival, the popular Posty Fest in 2018 and 2019. In 2020, he also performed a massively popular Nirvana tribute concert on YouTube, raising over $10 million for the World Health Organization’s fight against COVID-19.

Following the release of beerbongs & bentley’s, Post Malone crushed a 54 year old record. He charted nine songs in the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100—achieving the most in the Top 20 of the Hot 100 chart, ever. He also trounced the record for most simultaneous Top 40 songs on the Hot 100 list with 14.
