Leading MENA music platform Anghami expands its partnership with indie Arab label Rotana Music to include content and concert collaborations.

Anghami, the leading music and entertainment audio platform in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa), has expanded its strategic partnership with Rotana Music, the leading independent Arab record label and largest repertoire owner of Arabic music and media. The renewed agreement includes various content and concert collaborations, marking a significant milestone in the two entities’ partnership.

Building upon their initial collaboration established in 2012, the expansion of the partnership between Anghami and Rotana paves the way for a greater array of releases and collaborations across music, media, entertainment, and events over the next three years. The agreement, signed in early February, grants Anghami access to Rotana’s expansive Arabic music catalog.

“We are excited to renew and broaden our partnership with Rotana, reaffirming our dedication to offering users content and experiences. This three-year agreement highlights our shared vision to continuously elevate the Arabic music landscape and offer unique opportunities to both artists and fans,” said Eddy Maroun (pictured center right), Co-Founder and CEO of Anghami.

“Rotana has always been a pioneer in its field to serve and delight the Saudi, Gulf, and Arab audiences with whom we have built over the years a bridge of trust and appreciation in order for them to acquire excellence from Rotana in everything they seek,” added Salem al-Hindi (pictured center), CEO of Rotana Music. “We are all confident that what is coming between Rotana and Anghami will help expand our presence by delivering Rotana music to listeners worldwide.”

The expanded partnership will see Anghami and Rotana poised to redefine the rapidly evolving music industry in the MENA region. As the most established and fastest growing music technology platform in the Arab world, Anghami is already the go-to destination for Arabic music and entertainment, featuring long-term partnerships with all three major labels: Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group. With an expanded ecosystem of music and events, the future looks bright for Anghami and Rotana.
