Coachella 2024 has an impressive list of celebrity cameos and guest performances in Weekend One, between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Shakira, and more — yet Weekend Two passes are still not sold out.

Never short on surprise guests and celebrity cameos, Coachella 2024 is going all out during Weekend One. With appearances from lovebirds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, and surprise performances from Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Shakira, and more, some fans are left wondering what might be in store for Weekend Two. And make no mistake: it is only “some” fans; passes for Coachella Weekend Two are still available, even after the festival’s star-studded first weekend comes to a close.

Headliner Lana Del Rey made her return to the Coachella stage for the first time in a decade, “exactly 10 years to the day,” the singer told the crowd. She kicked off Day One with a stellar entrance on a motorcycle before welcoming her special guests, including fellow songstress Billie Eilish to join her in singing Del Rey’s “Video Games” and Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes.”

Del Rey’s other guests included Jon Batiste accompanying her on piano for an extended version of “Candy Necklace.” The Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff joined in at the end of her set for “Hope is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman Like Me — But I Have It.” Antonoff and his band took the stage the following night — where his friend and global superstar Taylor Swift and her partner, NFL star Travis Kelce could be seen kissing and dancing backstage during the Bleachers’ set.

At the Sahara Tent, Argentine producer Bizarrap played an hour-long DJ set that not only kept the energy up, but wowed the crowd further with a surprise guest from his collaborator, Colombian-born superstar Shakira. Shakira ended the set by announcing an upcoming world tour in November — her first since 2018.

Peso Pluma was joined on stage by Becky G — one year after the latter star brought out the former as a surprise guest on her own Coachella set in 2023. Afterwards, Peso Pluma was joined by Junior H, Santa Fe Klan, and Arcángel.

Gwen Stefani performing again with No Doubt was already bound to be an exciting moment for fans when Coachella first announced the reunion. But fans were treated to an even bigger surprise when hitmaker Olivia Rodrigo joined Stefani on stage for a rendition of “Bathwater.”

Tyler, the Creator surprised fans with guest performances from Childish Gambino (actor Donald Glover), A$AP Rocky, Charlie Wilson, and Kali Uchis. Rihanna shocked festivalgoers further when she joined Rocky afterward to watch the rest of Tyler’s set.

Paris Hilton even joined last-minute addition Vampire Weekend on-stage for part of their set. But given how easy it’s become for fans to enjoy Coachella and other music festivals from the comfort of their own couch (Couchella, anyone?), it’s little wonder that tickets for the festival’s second weekend remain available.

Even Taylor Swift wasn’t enough to sell out the festival — but then again, she wasn’t performing. Had she been, Coachella would have undoubtedly sold out before the general on-sale began, if the Eras Tour pre-sale was any indication.
