Amazon Music will livestream Kendrick Lamar’s ‘The Pop Out — Ken & Friends’ concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on June 19.

Tickets for Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming Los Angeles show, “The Pop Out — Ken and Friends,” sold out instantly when they went on sale to the general public on Friday. But Amazon Music was quick to come to the rescue with an announcement that its hip-hop and R&B brand, Rotation, will livestream the concert, which takes place on Juneteenth (June 19) at the Kia Forum.

The concert airs live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch at 4 PM PT, coinciding with Amazon Music’s “Forever the Influence” celebration of Black musicians and creatives for Black Music Month. Amazon Music will announce additional Originals and video content from the most influential Black artists for the celebration in the coming weeks.

Kendrick Lamar only announced “The Pop Out — Ken and Friends,” presented by pgLang and Free Lunch, last week. With demand at a “staggering high,” tickets for the event sold out almost instantly, and are already being resold on Ticketmaster’s site for between $340 to $1,200 a pop.

The concert’s title is a reference to Ken’s wildly popular Drake diss track, “Not Like Us,” which has become the de facto “winner” and biggest hit to come from the feud. Since Lamar dropped his verse on Metro Boomin and Future’s track “Like That” back in March, the beef between him and Drake has only become juicier.

Throughout the back and forth, the two rappers have taken jabs at each other’s stage persona, physical appearance, and the nature of their character. Although Drake has been the last to release a diss track in the feud, with “The Heart Part 6,” which was recently scrubbed from his Instagram profile, listeners have largely considered Kendrick the winner, with an overall more popular song featuring the most cutting attacks.
