Tyla, Bono, Queen Latifah, Janelle Monáe, Martin Garrix, Shaboozey, and more stars dazzle and delight at Spotify Beach during the Cannes Lions Festival.

In its tenth year at the annual Cannes Lions Festival in France, Spotify’s celebration was filled to the brim with stars eager to see Benson Boone, Shaboozey, Martin Garrix, and Tyla perform at ‘Spotify Beach’.

“More than ever, this year’s Spotify Beach lineup features the next generation of superstars like Tyla, Shaboozey, and Benson, who have captured the eyes and ears of music fans in 2024 and have some of the hottest songs of the summer,” shared Joe Hadley, Global Head of Artist Partnerships & Audience at Spotify.

“We’ve always taken pride in our Spotify Beach stage,” Hadley continues. “It’s a place where superstars and rising talents are celebrated, a real-life representation of Spotify’s commitment to growing careers at every level.”

And the festival has certainly attracted an array of stars, both new and familiar, from musicians and actors to comedians, podcasters, and social media influencers.

U2’s Bono chatted with fan and fellow musician Jared Leto on the private deck, before the latter ran to the general admission section to get a front-row glimpse of Martin Garrix. Garrix played a surprise set before Tyla took the stage for the grand finale.

Tyla’s performance had unfortunately been delayed following an unexpected visit to the hospital when she got nail glue in her eye. But all eyes were on her once she took the stage, and the South African star even took a fan’s phone to record a video of herself performing during the set.

Even Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson and Peloton star Ally Love were spotted jamming to Garrix’s performance. Love was also spotted swaying and singing along to Benson Boone’s hits.

Shaboozey, best known for his viral hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” was hanging out with fellow musician Janelle Monáe. It’s unknown if she joined him in his green room, where he is said to have had a beer pong table set up, but the two mingled in the VIP lounge.

Queen Latifah reportedly greeted just about every A-lister there, but made a point to use hand sanitizer provided by her security guard after every handshake.

On Wednesday night, electronic duo Justice and rock band Arcade Fire hit the stage for the third night of the Spotify Beach bash, which kicked off on Monday, June 17, and wraps up on Thursday, June 20. The opening night saw a special performance from EGOT-winner John Legend.
