Travis Scott was arrested at a Miami Beach marina on disorderly intoxication and trespassing, telling cops ‘It’s Miami,’ when he admitted to drinking.

Rapper Travis Scott was taken into custody when officers responded to a report of fighting on a yacht at Miami Beach Marina around 1 AM. Scott was found standing by the dock and yelling at people on one of the boats, according to the arrest affidavit. Police said they “could sense a strong smell of alcohol” on Scott’s breath, noting that he repeatedly ignored officers’ instructions.

The individuals on the boat told officers they didn’t want to press charges and simply wanted Scott off the premises. Scott allegedly became “erratic” and started yelling obscenities as he walked backwards away from the yacht, but then returned about five minutes later. He reportedly disregarded multiple warnings from the officers and instructions to sit down.

Travis Scott was taken into custody at 1:17 AM on charges of trespassing after a warning and disorderly intoxication. Scott is said to have simply told police, “It’s Miami,” when he admitted to being drunk. He was booked at 4:35 AM and posted a $650 bond.

“There was no physical altercation with anyone,” a source close to the incident reported. “This was a rowdy party and Travis was already bailed out for a few hundred dollars. He is already home,” they added. “There will be no further action to be taken, as it was a minor incident akin to receiving a ticket with no injuries.”

The arrest comes less than a month after Scott and Alexander “AE” Edwards got into an altercation at Richie Akiva’s The After afterparty in Cannes, France. The two reportedly began throwing punches when Scott became annoyed that Akiva shouted out AE and Tyga in the DJ booth, but not himself.

“Travis was the aggressor,” a source claimed. “He and his team were being neurotic, erratic, and crazy. He was there looking for a fight with anyone, to be honest.” Music legend Cher, who is romantically tied to AE, wrote on the former Twitter that her boyfriend “did not start” the fight.

Travis Scott has been up to his elbows in legal trouble since the crowd crush event at the 2021 Astroworld festival that killed 10 people. Nine of the 10 wrongful death lawsuits filed in connection with the incident have reportedly been settled, while approximately 2,400 injury claims remain pending.
