Merck Mercuriadis has announced plans to step down as Hipgnosis Song Management’s chairman.

Merlin

Merlin has named former Greenberg Traurig partner Neil Miller as its general counsel.

BSI Merch

BSI Merch has opened an office in Tokyo and tapped longtime merch manager Charlie Simmonds to lead the division.

AMPAL

Sonic Rights Management’s Damian Rinaldi has signed on as general manager of the Australasian Music Publishers Association Limited.

UK Music

UK Music has selected interim chief executive Tom Kiehl to assume the role on a permanent basis.

Bravado

Universal Music’s Bravado merch and brand management company has revealed a “new leadership structure for strategic growth,” including the elevation of former Live Nation SVP of creative services Alyssa Tobias to SVP and head of creative services.

Next, over four-year Bravado team member Ashley Fogerty has been bumped to SVP of business affairs, former Songkick MD Bill Ashton has been boosted to SVP of commerce, and Brian Schechter has been upped to SVP and head of brand management.

Additionally, Revolt vet Colin McIntosh has come aboard as CFO, 14-year Bravado vet David Boyne is MD for the UK division, and Rachel Redfearn is SVP of UK A&R, brand management, and label liaison.

Lastly, Nashville-based Stacie Swanson has been promoted to the newly created role of artist strategy VP, 13-year team member Briana Farrell has become VP of US retail, and Keith Taperell is now VP of licensing.

iHeartMedia

iHeartMedia Minneapolis has enlisted Eric Lonnquist to serve as sales SVP, and iHeartMedia Baltimore has chosen Maurette Brown Clark to host the Heaven 600 morning show.

OTM Music

OTM has hired former Sony Music and Third Side Music higher-up Kristin Genovese as US head of sync.

Plus, the publisher has expanded its UK team with the addition of Downtown vet Kate Sweetsur (A&R head), former Sony Music Publishing sync professional Chi Chi Nwakodo (senior sync creative), and former House Anxiety label manager Ethan Mizen (A&R manager).

Believe

Eyeing a “long-term investment in Asia,” Believe has confirmed Charles Liu as GM for Greater China and brought on Rebecca Dong as operations MD for the same division.

BAPAM

The British Association for Performing Arts Medicine’s board of trustees has added Music Leaders Network co-founder Remi Harris and Equity assistant general secretary for live performance Adam Adnyana.

Warner Records

Over four-year Warner Records team member Robert Santini has been elevated to SVP for brand partnerships and ad sync, while Kelly Bolton has joined from Tape Room Music as A&R VP.

Universal Music Central Europe

After recording “impressive achievements” for Universal Music Sweden, Joakim Johansson, who remains MD of the latter division, has become president of the Nordics for Universal Music Central Europe.

Frontiers Label Group

Frontiers has welcomed Turkish composer Cenk Eroglu as an in-house writer and producer.

Sony Music Nashville

Lauren Thomas, previously VP of Columbia promotion, is officially Sony Music Nashville’s SVP of promotion.

Spirit Music Group

Former Avex USA and Sony Music Publishing exec Lou Al-Chamaa has joined Spirit Music as EVP of A&R.

Rostrum Pacific’s Fat Beats has appointed as president former Def Jam and Warner Records exec Chris Atlas.

Symphonic has named as its first territory manager for Asia TFTI member and Open Door Artists co-founder Guji Lorenzana.

AEG Presents has announced Don Strasburg’s promotion from co-president to president of the Rocky Mountains and Pacific Northwest regions.

Splendour in the Grass co-founder Jessica Ducrou is stepping down as co-CEO of Secret Sounds after close to three decades.
