We’re seeking a Financial Operations Director who has a background in regulatory banking and finance and can wear both hats. The Financial Operations Director will work closely with our CEO and engineering team to collaborate on financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and initiating policies and procedures. The Director of Finance will have the unique opportunity to help shape the future of our emerging business.
What you will bring to this role:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a senior financial role
- Experience working with a small team and being a leader
- Work experience or interest with blockchain and cryptocurrencies
- Knowledge of current regulations for cryptocurrencies
- Experience with financial regulation compliance
- Experience with money transmitter services
- Experience with FinCEN current regulations involving virtual currencies
- Experience in an operational role
Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial planning and analysis for the company
- Build financial models for strategic initiatives and processes
- Guide overall financial vision and direction of the company
- Prepare and oversee all financial regulation filings
- Work with the team on the internal cryptocurrency
- Oversee accountants and bookkeepers
- Growth Planning for the company
