Apple is the latest to capitalize on a consumer appetite for portable media applications, one tearing across social networking destinations and blogs.
The company is now offering a trio of iTunes-related widgets, all of which offer tie-ins back to the application. The customized modules include information on latest purchases and top reviews, and feature neatly-organized album images. “My iTunes widgets are simple, self-updating add-ons for your web page, social-networking profile, or blog,” the company said. Apple also offers a number of different cosmetic styles, and also offers RSS reader compatibility.
