The Jonas Brothers Wake-Up Call

What’s for breakfast?

Some like eggs and coffee, others prefer OJ and a danish.  But for those starting the day with Breakfast Breaks, a Jonas Brothers download is now part of the package.  The ESE Foods product bundles a bowl of General Mills cereal, a Minute Maid drink, a snack, and utensils into one box.  Featured cereals include Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios, and Lucky Charms, all time-tested favorites.

That package is already served to hundreds of thousands of students in the United States, according to ESE, though the company is now pushing the concept into retail.  The promotion, steered by GMR Entertainment and Hip Digital Media, layers pin codes for free Jonas Brothers MP3s into the sale.  Buyers can also redeem the codes for downloads from Katy Perry, Spice Girls, and Yellowcard.  The nine-month campaign will traverse 27 million buyers, according to the companies.  Wal-Mart, Target, and various supermarket chains are carrying the product.
