Some are lauding this as a shining moment for Twitter, a perfect example of disintermediation and a challenge to the distortion of established media outlets. Another angle is that Kanye is merely juicing the controversial channels once again, and drawing more attention upon a pivotal moment and its central actor, Mr. West. Perhaps that’s what it takes to cut through the congested media clutter these days.
