*Spotify has raised a whopping, $100 million infusion from DST, Kleiner Perkins and Accel, according to information reported Friday by the Wall Street Journal.

That comes ahead of an expected US launch, and the company is already claiming a finalized Warner Music Group deal.

*App developer Khu.sh has just partnered with the Gregory Brothers (Bedroom Intruders) to convert words into auto-tuned songs – instantly.  The top-level was just shared with Digital Music News; more details after July 4th.

*Also in app news, Play by Yahoo Music has just launched on the Android.  The app offers song identification, smart playlisting, and functions like a mobile MP3 player.
