Lawsuit Against EDC Thrown Out…

Los Angeles Superior Court judge Terry A. Green dismissed a civil lawsuit filed in 2011 against Electric Daisy Carnival promoters.

CEO of Insomniac Productions, Pasquale Rotella, and Reza Gerami of Go Ventures were accused of civil conspiracy, fraud, and unfair business practices.  Also charged was ex-Memorial Coliseum events manager Todd DeStefano.

The lawsuit claimed that Rotella and Gerami privately paid DeStefano in exchange for lower rates and a warranted access to the LA concert venue.

Green ruled that the plaintiffs did not have enough proof that such a conspiracy existed.
