Ticketfly has hired Steve Oliver as COO. Most recently, Oliver was manager of Amazon Canada.

Leo V. Williams IV has been hired by rights management company ole. Williams will be General Manager of Creative in Los Angeles.

Gracenote‘s President, Stephen White, is stepping down.  In an email to Gracenote staff obtained by Digital Music News, White said this was “a very difficult decision” but gave no specific reasons for the departure.

Universal Music Publishing Group has Promoted Ethiopia Habtemariam to President of Urban Music and Co-Head of Creative in the U.S., reports Billboard.  One month ago, Habtemariam was promoted to President of Capitol Music Group in addition to her then-position as EVP and Head of Urban Music at UMPG.

Warner Music Group has added three people to its board: Mathias Döpfner, Noreena Hertz, and Oliver Slipper.  The board now has 11 people instead of 8.
