CAA announced that they have promoted Julie Greenberg to a touring agent. She will be based in the company’s Nashville office.

The Motion Picture Association has hired Karyn A. Temple as its global general counsel. She previously worked eight years for the U.S. Copyright Office, with her most recent position being register of copyrights.

Michael Dugher, who has been head of UK Music, is stepping down from his role to take a similar one with the Betting And Gaming Council. He joined the organization in 2017 after once serving as a British MP in the country’s Labour party.

ByteDance has named Ole Obermann as a vice president and the global head of music for its TikTok app. He will be based in London.

Warner Chappell Music announced that it has hired Rich Christina to be a senior vice president of A&R. He will be based in New York and report to Ryan Press, who is the company’s president of A&R.

AEG Presents has promoted Debra Rathwell to executive vice president of global touring and talent. She has been with the company since 2002.

Position Music announced that it had promoted Ty Salazar to senior director of creative licensing. He has been with the company since 2013.

Damon Whiteside will become the new CEO of the Academy of Country Music. He will replace Damon Whiteside on January 6.

Prager Metis announced that it has promoted Mark Carter to a principal. He will work in the company’s business management department within their London office.
