Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) is inking a worldwide publishing deal with Electric Feel.
The new publishing deal will see Electric Feel Publishing Europe launch to expand its European presence. Electric Feel was founded in 2013 by Austin Rosen and is led by Lucas Teuchner and Alex Strehl. The brand operates across music, brands, and culture, with a goal of discovering and developing artists, producers, and songwriters.
Electric Feel Europe is powered by Berlin-based label and management company Two Sides. It also has support from artist management and creative agency A Million Entertainment. Some of the new group’s first signings include German rap producers Minor2Go, Palazzo, and Jumpa. Two Sides is led by Teuchner, who also manages German rap artists Apache 207, Bausa, and Loredana.
“I am thrilled that we are expanding our global partnership with Austin Rosen and his company Electric Feel,” UMPG CEO Jody Gerson says. “As Austin, Alex, and Lucas continue to sign hit songwriters in Europe, the UMPG team looks forward to supporting and developing that talent around the world.”
One of the first collaborative projects from the venture, 24kGoldn’s single, ‘Mood,’ showcases “the proven power of our joint forces,” says Teuchner. Some of the additional talent Electric Feel has worked with include Post Malone, Rich The Kid, Travis Scott, Louis Bell, Frank Dukes, Nick Mira, Andrew Watt, Billy Walsh, Brian Lee, Iann Dior, Omer Fedi, Blake Slatkin, and others.
