For the lucky ones, an excellent mentor can guide them to handle success and failure, as well as any other challenge they may face. The not-so-lucky ones get a baptism by fire. They have to figure all that out on their own and learn how to strike a balance. Award-winning music producer Menoh knows first-hand how tough that can be.
Menoh is a renowned music producer with many big projects in his portfolio. At the moment, he is a six-time platinum music producer. Some of his notable works include producing 2 songs on award-winning artist Lil Tecca’s album; one is “We Love You Tecca.” The album was number one on the Top R&B/Hip Hop albums billboard. It also topped the Top Rap Albums billboard. Menoh’ productions have accumulated nearly 2B streams on major streaming platforms so far.
Menoh is not just a producer, however. He is a mentor to many up-and-coming artists as well as many producers under the Republic sub-label Galactic. He is passionate about helping them to develop their talents and build their brands. Menoh also works with other producers, helping them to build their names and brands. Most importantly, he offers them the guidance he wishes some had offered him years ago when he was starting his career.
A few years ago, Menoh was ready to quit music production. Although he loved it and had spent a lot of time honing his skills, he was not seeing any progress. After dedicating most of his time to music, he had become more and more disinterested in school and his grades were suffering for it. Menoh chose to save one. He deleted almost all of his beats and started marketing his speakers.
Although he was ready to let it all go, a sliver of hope still clung to Menoh’ heart. Before shutting everything down, he sent his last two beats to Lil Skies, an up-and-coming artist at the time. Lil Skies liked one of them and picked it up for his debut track, “Red Roses.” The song became an international hit and topped many charts. That moment changed Menoh’ life forever.
Later, Menoh began his collaboration with Lil Tecca. The duo has worked together on several of the artist’s highly successful projects. Menoh is also working on other long-term projects he believes will change the industry. Besides producing quality music, he wants to leave a much bigger legacy.
Menoh draws inspiration from the challenges he faced. Because of them, he is committed to being a pioneer and bringing opportunities to other producers. He also does a lot to open doors for others in the industry. Menoh’ ultimate goal is to run a successful management company for producers and artists.
