When talking about the more emotional genres of music, there is an artist who started young and made his own way: Erick B.
Most people start to find out what they want to do in life later on. However, it was different for Erick B. He wasn’t even in his early twenties. In fact, Erick B was only 13 years old when he wrote his first song. When it came to releasing this song, he did not wait until he was much older and ended up recording it and releasing it at 15 with Delux Music Group.
The results were amazing. In under two weeks, his song surpassed a jaw-dropping 3 million streams across his different social media channels. Erick B’s talent, passion, and love for what he did were clear.
While it’s smooth sailing now, Erick B remembers when times were different.
He remembers how intimidating and challenging it was for him as a newcomer in the music industry. On top of everything else, not only was he a newcomer, but he was also very young.
However, he rose above all that and reached for the stars. He kept at it and made incredible music. When it comes to advice, Erick B says that you should be real and keep it real, be yourself, and make the music that makes you feel right.
In the coming years, Erick B would like to work on both himself and his music. While he has already achieved a lot, he has no plans to slow down. He wants to make music and better impact people’s lives.
