“Hurt is an inevitable part of life,” Jared says. “There’s no way to avoid it.” And while we may think that the scars and hurts from our past will define us forever, he wants people to know that it can be the exact opposite. “All my scars are a reminder of what I’ve been through to get where I am today,” Jared explains. “We’re not perfect and never will be, but that’s the beauty of life. No experience is wasted. Ultimately there is hope.”
As a new artist, Jared Henry found himself in the trenches of life, struggling to find his footing and understand who he was as an individual while figuring out how to make it in the world.
The pain and hurt he experienced left him feeling hopeless at times, but through those hardships came the inspiration for some of his most beautiful and inspirational music yet. “I want to let people know that they are not alone and that it is okay to be broken,” Jared explains, while pointing to his mission as an artist. He adds that despite what your loved ones may want you to believe, nobody you know is unscathed. Life happens to all of us, but some hide their scars better than others. As an artist, he bares his soul and connects with his fans through the music he creates.
In a world where everyone tries to show how in charge they are, Jared’s fans seem to appreciate his genuineness and uniqueness. Despite being an independent artist, his popularity has grown significantly on social media and music streaming platforms. “I am a real person with imperfections but lots of personality and hope,” Jared explains when asked about his success in the fast-paced music industry. His goal is to keep making more music his fans will love and reach more people around the world who may feel discouraged.
