In the music industry today, it is almost impossible for artists to find immediate success. Many have to spend a number of their young years grinding nonstop just to even get their foot in the door to generating a fan base.
Ascend Agency is working with Digital Music News to create opportunities for artists to be visible to the music industry.
Success in music is never a guarantee and the career path isn’t for the faint of heart. One artist who has beaten all the odds is the international artist Traphique.
From the country of Kuwait, Traphique brings a unique, diverse background to the music industry. The creative ultimately got into music when he was around 8 or 9 years old after hearing Eminem’s legendary track “Lose Yourself.” From that point on, his thought was always to make music and make a name for himself in that lane. Traphique began expanding his talents when he was 15 and took up writing, recording, and rapping with a friend using GarageBand on his laptop. Although, he never really took it that seriously until a few years ago.
Inspired by many hip hop greats like Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, The Weeknd, Russ, and countless others, Traphique sought to develop music that aligned with what he enjoyed himself. The artist debuted his first single “FLO” back in 2020, offering music listeners a taste of the hard work he’s put in. The single introduces you to Traphique’s new age catchy flows and his hardcore, upbeat sound. He would continue his rise to promise in 2020 by releasing 5 other singles, one being his first collab track “Fake Love” with Dinar.
Staying inspired to constantly prove his doubters wrong, Traphique has been consistently getting better and adapting in each release.
The hip hop MC turned in 5 tracks during his 2022 campaign including fan favorite “Latsoolif” with Khalz and his latest release “Shfeek Z3laan?” featuring Almo7nak and Khalz. “Latsoolif” offers a softer rap listen while “Shfeek Z3laan?” turns the tempo back up. On each track, the international talent fuses multiple languages in the lyrics.
Traphique has no plans of slowing his role in 2023. The artist mentioned he will be releasing something new at least once a month for the next few years. He’s got all sorts of various songs to come, freestyles, comedic songs, and ones on relatable topics like depression, social issues, isolation, love, and hatred. The artist will continue to release only singles for the near future, allowing for each track to offer his fans something different from the last.
Traphique is set to make 2023 a better year than last. Stay tuned with his journey on Instagram and check out his music on Spotify, links below.
