He discusses that although talent is a major factor in his success, talent alone can’t take him where he wants to go, it’s loyalty that does. Divided loyalties is what breaks most that had real momentum going for them. “Loyalty to your people and craft will take you farther than talent and hustle ever will.”
Having that “it” factor appears differently for all artists that make a name for themselves. NGB clearly shows it through his selflessness. “Ego tends to destroy individuals and teams who haven’t seen success and begin to acquire it for the first time.” says NGB Tay. “I’m one of the most selfless people you could ever find in life , I am so authentic it may be unreal for some to believe , the love I give to a loyal human being is insane.”
It’s that same loyalty that manifested into NGB openings for major artists like Meek Mill , G Herbo , Moneybagg Yo , Yung Blue , EST Gee, and being able to be in a BET commercial as an independent artist.
With the music industry being as cutthroat as it is, it’s crucial to have strong relationships with those with your best interest at hand. It will put you in rooms and situations you wouldn’t have imagined.
