He began using his brother’s old laptop and a cracked version of FL Studio, but as his confidence grew, he upgraded his equipment and decided to take his passion more seriously.
During the early days of his career, Lau faced a unique set of challenges. While completing his high school education from home due to COVID-19, he found himself living alone and trying to pursue his dream of becoming a producer. Hailing from a small town with a limited music scene and few resources, Lau had to rely on his determination to succeed. Despite the odds, he persevered, eventually catching the attention of producer Haan, who offered him an invaluable opportunity.
Lau credits his mindset, hustle, and work ethic for his success. He believes this has allowed him to overcome countless failures and learn valuable life lessons. His unique outlook on life, shaped by his upbringing in a small Australian town, has also played a crucial role in his achievements.
Now signed to Grade A Productions on a producer agreement, Lau has worked with an impressive roster of artists, including Future, Lil Durk, and Machine Gun Kelly. His collaboration with Travis Scott’s artist, SoFaygo, on the album Pink Heartz gained significant recognition. It was even featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Apple Music’s Up Next.

One memorable experience he cherishes is when he and Haan were in Miami, casually working in a studio, when Future walked in and immediately began recording. They completed three songs in their first session together, a testament to Lau’s talent and work ethic.
