Billie Eilish, H.E.R., Lenny Kravitz, Jon Batiste will Headline Global Citizen’s ‘Power Our Planet: Live in Paris’ Festival

Global Citizen’s ‘Power Our Planet: Live in Paris’ festival has announced headliners including Lenny Kravitz, Billie Eilish, H.E.R., and Jon Batiste.

The festival is happening on June 22 in Paris at the Champ de Mars to raise awareness and call on world, business, and philanthropic leaders to take a stand against global inequality and climate change. “Under the high patronage of Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, Power Our Planet: Live in Paris will rally global leaders attending the New Financial Pact Summit, chaired by President Macron, to drive commitments from world leaders and the private sector to confront the climate crisis head on,” the press release reads.

Tickets to the event are free and can be earned by helping take action with the Global Citizen app or website. Each action performed on the website earns points that go toward entries into the draws to win a set of tickets. Global Citizens have taken over 33.5 million actions since 2009, helping distribute more than $43.6 billion to partners around the world fighting extreme poverty across the globe.

“The world’s most vulnerable countries and people contribute the least to climate change, and yet are impacted the most by it. To address this, Global Citizen is launching Power Our Planet—a year-long campaign to give vulnerable countries a better financial foundation and access to financing solutions to invest in the transition to clean energy and withstand natural disasters,” reads the initiative’s mission.

“We are bringing the Power Our Planet rallying call to key moments throughout the year, including the G7 summit in May, the New Financing Pact Summit in Paris in June, the G20 and UNGA in September, and COP28 in November,” the organization continues. Main ticket draws are available only to Global Citizens that live in France. Participants must be over 18 to enter, but people under the age of 18 can attend as guest of a ticket-holder.
