Mick Jagger turns 80, celebrating his birthday with his beautiful fiancée, to whom he became engaged last month, and their 6-year-old son: “Happy birthday, my love.”

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger turned 80 on Wednesday (July 26) with well-wishes from friends and bandmates worldwide. Melanie Hamrick, his longtime girlfriend to whom he became engaged last month, posted a simple birthday note to Instagram with two photos of the couple and their 6-year-old son. Meanwhile, his bandmate Keith Richards uploaded a video to Twitter in which he’s playing the piano.

“Thanks so much for all your lovely comments and birthday wishes!” Jagger posted to Instagram.

“Happy birthday, my love,” writes Jagger’s fiancée, choreographer and former ballerina Melanie Hamrick, to whom he became engaged last month, though the couple has been together since 2014.

“Hey Mick,” says Keith Richards in his video as he pauses playing piano. “Long may we keep saying this to each other. Happy birthday, Mick; have another good one. Give me a call and let me know what it’s like.”

Richards is the next Rolling Stone preparing to reach the milestone, as he turns 80 in December. Guitarist Ronnie Wood remains the baby of the group at age 76, while drummer Charlie Watts passed away in 2021, aged 80.

“Happy 80th birthday, Mick Jagger,” wrote Wood on Twitter, along with a series of throwback photos of the pair, a performance photo, and a painting of Jagger.

“Happy birthday, dad, still so young,” writes Jade Jagger, Mick’s second child with his ex Bianca. “All dressed up (and) ready to go,” she writes alongside a series of selfies featuring her outfit for the evening.

“Two birthdays today,” tweets model Pattie Boyd, acknowledging Jagger’s birthday twin, Roger Taylor of Duran Duran. “Many happy returns to both Mick Jagger and Roger Taylor!”

Among the birthday well-wishes for Jagger on social media were Lenny Kravitz with a happy birthday in an Instagram post, and fashion designer and longtime friend of Jagger Diane von Furstenberg, who posted a kind tribute to Instagram alongside a throwback photo and a recent selfie taken together.
